What is the Rubber Duck Regatta and Jeep Festival?
The Rubber Duck Regatta and Jeep Festival is the quackiest event of the year! It features rubber duck races, live entertainment, delicious food, jeep festival activities, vendors, corporate duck beauty pageant, Kid Zone, and oodles of activities for the whole family. Plus, it all supports local nonprofits. It’s duck-tastic fun for a great cause!
What is the layout of the event?
The Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta is spread out across the beautiful Rockwall Harbor. We have designated areas for the duck races, Jeep activities, Kidzone, stage performances, and vendor booths. For a detailed view, check out our event map below:
When and where is the event held?
This splash-tacular event takes place at the Rockwall Harbor from 10AM-6PM on October 12th, 2024. Keep your eyes on our official website or social media pages for the latest updates. Don’t miss it!
How can I join in on the duck races?
It’s easy peasy! Adopt a ducky online here or at our quack-tastic booths on the day of the event. Each ducky gets a special number, and the winning ducks paddle away with amazing prizes!
Are the ducks real?
No, the ducks aren’t real. They’re cute little rubber duckies ready to race their hearts out for a great cause!
How much is a duck?
Each rubber duck costs $10. Adopt as many as you like to increase your chances of winning that fabulous Jeep!
Do I get to keep my duck?
You don’t actually receive a duck. Once you "adopt" a duck, it’s entered into the race to compete for you with your assigned number. Good luck!
How does the duck race work?
Each duck adoption is assigned a random number, and each rubber ducky in the race has a corresponding number on the bottom. When the ducks cross the finish line into the tube, the first duck is pulled, and the number on the bottom of that duck is the winner! (Note: Duck adopters will not actually receive a duck, and no ducks are harmed in the creation of this quacky event!) You do not need to be present to win. All winners will be announced on the website and on social media.
When do I get my duck number?
Once duck sales close on the day of the event, an email will be sent out with your duck numbers. You should receive this email by 5 PM to the email address used for purchasing the duck. If you do not receive the email, please check your spam folder.

Is there an entry fee to attend the regatta?
Good news! It’s free to flock in and enjoy the Rubber Duck Regatta and Jeep Festival. However, you might want to bring some bucks for food, drinks, and special activities.
Are there activities for the little ducklings?
Absolutely! We have a ton of fun for kids, including games, face painting, a kid's zone, and quack-tastic activities that will keep them entertained all day long.
What’s in the Kidzone?
The Kidzone is a quack-tastic place packed with fun! Kids can enjoy:
- Inflatables: Bounce around in our giant inflatables.
- Face Painting: Get your face painted with colorful designs.
- Pumpkin Painting: Decorate your own pumpkin for the fall season.
- Trick or Treating: Collect treats from our friendly vendors.
Can I bring my own snacks and drinks?
Waddle on over to our food vendors for a variety of tasty treats and refreshing beverages. Outside food and drinks are usually a no-go, so come hungry and ready to sample the goods!
Is the event pet-friendly?
Yes, the Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta is pet-friendly! Bring your furry friends along to join in the fun. Just make sure they are on a leash and well-behaved to ensure everyone has a great time.

The Rubber Duck Regatta and Jeep Festival features a variety of local talent on two stages- the main stage & the Jeep Zone stage. Enjoy performances from community groups, dance troupes, and bands. Plus, live music will keep the energy high and the good vibes rolling throughout the event!
What is the Corporate Duck Beauty Pageant?
It’s a beauty contest like no other! Local businesses decorate oversized rubber ducks to compete in our Corporate Duck Beauty Pageant. These creative, quack-tacular ducks will be on display for everyone to enjoy. Vote for your favorite and see which duck reigns supreme!
How can I become a vendor at the regatta?
We’d love to have you join the quack-tivity! To become a vendor, visit our website and fill out the vendor application form. It’s a great way to showcase your products or services to thousands of attendees.
How do I get to the Rockwall Harbor?
The Rockwall Harbor is located at 2074 Summer Lee Drive, Rockwall, TX 75032. From I-30, take exit 67A toward Horizon Road. Follow the signs to the Harbor District, and you'll find us at the end of Summer Lee Drive.
Where can I park?
Parking is available in any public lot not marked "No Event Parking." Look for signs and volunteers directing traffic to available spaces. Arrive early to secure a good spot!
