About

Since 2012, the Rubber Duck Regatta and Jeep Festival has been a beloved family tradition at The Harbor in Rockwall, Texas. What started as a quirky duck race has grown into a community celebration bringing thousands of people together for an afternoon of food, entertainment, activities, and plenty of fun by the lake.

And this year, we're shaking things up!

The festival offers something for everyone:

  • Live music & performances throughout the day

  • A huge KidZone packed with activities for kids

  • Local food & vendors with plenty to eat, shop, and explore

  • Activities throughout The Harbor that give you opportunities to earn FREE Duck Race entries

  • And, of course, the Rubber Duck Race at 4:00 PM!

This year, ducks are FREE! Grab your 1 free duck entry leading up to the festival through our online form. And earn even more FREE ducks at the festival by visiting participating vendors, purchasing KidZone passes, supporting sponsors, taking part in activities, and more!

Then, thousands of bright yellow ducks will splash into the fountains at The Harbor and race for three incredible family-focused prizes designed around what matters most: exploring, gathering, and playing together.

But that's not all. The Regatta also serves as the official kickoff to Driving for Good, our new online sweepstakes.

Driving for Good is separate from the Duck Race and runs from September through March. Enter online for your chance to win a brand-new 2026 Jeep Wrangler, a Yamaha VX WaveRunner and $10,000! The grand-prize winner will be drawn on March 30th, 2027!

And behind all the fun is an even bigger purpose. The Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta and Driving for Good support two incredible nonprofits serving our community:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas (BGCNETX): Providing safe places, caring mentors, and programs that help young people learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Grace Clinic: Providing essential healthcare services to underserved and uninsured members of our Rockwall County community.

So come eat, play, shop, collect your duck entries, cheer on the race, and help us officially kick off Driving for Good.

Two ways to have fun. One great cause. One spec'quack'ular community tradition.
