Official Duck Race Rules

The Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta Duck Race is a free promotional activity held as part of the Rockwall Rubber Duck Regatta & Jeep Festival benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas (BGCNETX) and Rockwall Grace Clinic.

How to Enter
Duck Race entries are FREE. No purchase is necessary to enter or win.

Participants may receive Duck Race tickets through designated activities and participating locations throughout the festival.

Each Duck Race ticket contains a unique number corresponding to a numbered rubber duck entered in the race.

Participants may earn and hold multiple Duck Race tickets, subject to availability.

Tickets have no cash value and may not be sold or exchanged for cash.

Participants are responsible for keeping their physical tickets until winners have been confirmed.

The Race
The Rubber Duck Race will take place on October 11, 2026 at 4:00 PM at The Harbor in Rockwall, Texas.

Numbered rubber ducks will be released into the designated race area. The first three ducks to cross the official finish line, as determined by event officials, will be the First, Second, and Third Place winners.

Decisions made by event officials regarding the conduct and results of the race are final.

Prizes
Three prize packages will be awarded:

First Place – Texas Safari Adventure: Explore Together
A family getaway for four featuring a two-night stay, dining with giraffes, a private Sherp ride, and more.

Second Place – The Great Backyard: Gather Together

Each First, Second, and Third Place prize package will also include entries into the Driving for Good Jeep Sweepstakes.

Claiming a Prize
Winners do not have to be present at the Duck Race to win.

Participants should keep their physical Duck Race ticket until all winning numbers have been announced and prizes have been claimed.

A winner must present the winning ticket and may be asked to provide identification and contact information before receiving a prize.

BGCNETX and Grace Clinic will maintain records of distributed ticket numbers; however, participants are responsible for retaining their tickets.

Winners will have 30 days following the race to claim their prize. Any prize not claimed within that period may be forfeited.

Prize delivery or pickup will be coordinated with each winner. BGCNETX and Grace Clinic will provide delivery within 50 miles of Rockwall, Texas. Winners outside that area will be responsible for arranging and paying for pickup, delivery, or shipping.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older to claim a prize.

The following individuals are not eligible to win:
Employees of Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas
Employees of Rockwall Grace Clinic

Members of the Rockwall Grace Clinic Board of Directors

If an ineligible person's ticket is selected, that entry will be disqualified and the next eligible duck will be declared the winner.

By participating, entrants agree to abide by these rules and the decisions of BGCNETX and Grace Clinic regarding the administration of the Duck Race.

BGCNETX and Grace Clinic reserve the right to modify, postpone, suspend, or cancel the Duck Race if weather, safety concerns, technical issues, or other circumstances make it necessary.
